Nigerian pop sensation Bnxn has unveiled his latest single, “Phenomena.” Produced by Gemini Major, the track is a lively fusion of tropical house and Afrobeats. In “Phenomena,” Bnxn lays bare the pursuit of love while celebrating life’s extraordinary moments, and the surreal joy and experience of being in the spotlight.

The “Mood” and “Finesse” crooner describes the song as a profound experience that allowed him to express a deeper side of his musical journey. “I wanted to capture the essence of living in the moment, it’s about being unstoppable and letting the world know that we are here to stay,” he says. “I hope listeners will resonate with the vibe and energy of this song, embracing their own ‘phenomena’ moments as they groove to the beat.”

“Phenomena” marks Bnxn’s first solo release of 2024, following the success of his joint album with Ruger, RnB which has amassed over 250 million streams and peaked at #3 on Apple Music’s Top Albums chart. His debut album, Sincerely, Benson, released earlier in 2023, remains in the Top 10 of the official Nigerian top albums chart. Bnxn also recently headlined the Sincerely, BNXN Tour across North America.

Bnxn is steadily solidifying his position as a leading force in Afro-fusion, collaborating with top acts like Wizkid, Olamide, and Burna Boy. The music video for “Phenomena” is now available to watch below. For more revisit our interview with Bnxn around his ascendence.
